The Andy Walo Trio settles into the House of Blues Courtyard for tonight’s Nothing But the Blues event starting at 9 pm. All ages are welcome and admission is free.

OK…neither of the next two offers is technically free, but at 31 cents for one and 3 cans of food (less than a buck if you shop in the right place) for the second, I have declared them freebie list worthy.

Baskin-Robbins is holding the third annual 31-Cent Scoop Night at all area locations from 5 pm-10 pm. You get a 2.5-oz. scoop of ice cream (buyer’s flavor choice) for 31 cents and there is a three-scoop limit per person. The ice cream chain will donate $100,000 to the National Volunteer fire Council’s national Junior Firefighter Program as part of the program.
