The Fremont Street Experience is the place to be for today’s Pride 2009 activities. The festivities kick off with a series of concerts on the Third Street Stage including Justin Lanning (5:55-6:10 pm), Temphest Blue (5:20-5:45 pm), Dezmond Meeks (6:15-7 pm) and Louie Louie (8:10-10:55 pm). “Amazing Race” champion Reichen Lehmkuhl will host the evening and lead the parade which starts at 8 pm at the Grandstand at 4th St and Bridger Ave and will be broadcast live on Cox channel 96 and online at cox96.net. Parade participants will vie for awards like best walking unit, best vehicle unit and best float. The after parade party moves to the FreeZone on E. Naples.

The District at Green Valley Ranch is celebrating their 5th anniversary and that means three days of events including tonight’s Music on Main Street where Marshal Reign will perform top 40 country, classic and modern rock in the Courtyard from 6 pm to 10 pm. In addition, you can catch a free screening of Bolt on the Green starting at 7:30 pm. Complimentary popcorn will be provided. The District also introduces ArtWalk, a three day festival where artists from around the country will display their creations.
