The California in downtown Las Vegas goes Polynesian for the next two days as host of the annual Lei Day Hawaiian Festival. Enjoy foods of the region, arts and crafts and live island entertainment plus the chance to win a trip for two to Hawaii or Las Vegas. The festival takes place in the parking lot at the corner of Stewart and Main from 9 am to 6 pm. Admission is free.

Dale Chihuly, the artist responsible for the massive psychodelic chandelier hanging above the Bellagio lobby, will be signing his newest book, “Chihuly Black” at his art shop in the Bellagio from 1-2 pm.
The anniversary party at The District at Green Valley Ranch continues with musical entertainment all day long on Main Street. See acoustic duo Nick Mattera and Michael Soli (11 am-2 pm), J.A.R.R. playing Latin and Top 40 hits (2:30-5:30 pm) and The Brad Cordle Blues Band onstage from 6 pm-10 pm. The feature film for tonight’s free Outdoor Picture Show is Beverly Hills Chihuahua at 7:30 pm. Free popcorn will be provided.
Atomic Punks pay tribute to Van Halen at the Chrome Showroom at Santa Fe Station. Doors open at 10 pm and admission is free.
Sin City Sinners and The London Brothers perform together tonight at Ovation Lounge inside Green Valley Ranch. Admission is free.
McFadden’s at The Rio will throw a “Talk Derby To Me” party tonight with a $500 cash prize for the best derby hat in the house. Join in the beer races for even more prizes and enjoy $5 Maker’s Mark Mint Juleps all night long.
