Join a flock of fun-loving Parrotheads for a pre-concert block party on the street between Margaritaville and O’Shea’s from 11:30 am to 6 pm and raise a margarita (or two) to Jimmy Buffett. They’ll have live entertainment, food and stilt walkers. Admission is free.

The Helldorado Days festival features plenty of free entertainment on Fremont Street this evening and they’ll get the party started with the Donut Eating Contest finals at 5 pm in front of the Fremont Hotel & Casino.
The 75th annual parade gets underway at 7 pm. It starts at Charleston, proceed north on 4th Street and then from Hoover to Stewart Ave. (Time est. is 2 hours.)
The John Encino Band will entertain the crowds around the 1st Street Stage while the TJ Weaver Band performs on the 3rd Street Stage (8-11 pm).

The CineVegas Café Series continues at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at Canyon Point in Summerlin from 11 am-noon. Today’s guest speakers are UNLV film professor/ screenwriter Sean Clark and director Gary Nelson. Admission is free.

The Taste & Tunes Festival wraps up at the North Las Vegas City Hall with activities scheduled from 11 am until 11 pm. Check out the car show, salsa recipe contest and boxing bouts. Live music will be featured on two stages throughout the day and headliner Sugarfoot’s Ohio Players start their set at 9:30 pm.
