RelishLV is celebrating National Hot Dog Day with free hot dogs from 10 am to 2 pm. This mobile gourmet hot dog stand boasts a menu with nothing priced over $3. The topping menu offers the usual condiments plus more adventurous choices like roasted garlic, Pico de Gallo and Red Slaw. Side dishes include Grandma’s Carrot Salad and Bacon Popcorn (mmmm bacon!). RelishLV sets up shop at Sunset & Arville on Tuesdays & Thursdays and Sunset & Valley View on Mondays and Fridays.

Astronaut and veteran of two space shuttle missions Scott J. Kelly will be on Fremont Street today to wrap up the One Giant Leap celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the Moon Landing. He’ll conduct Q&A sessions at 10 am, 11:30 am and 1 pm and while you’re there check out the displays featuring a genuine spacesuit and an Apollo 11 replica. Admission is free.
