This is the last week to check out the Summer 2009 display at the Bellagio Conservatory. See the 42-ft Ferris Wheel ‘o flowers, real live birds and hot air balloons.
The display is spread out over 13,500 square feet underneath a 50-foot high glass ceiling and when the sun goes down, the lights come on and give it a completely different look and feel. So it’s worth seeing twice.
The summer motif will be in place through Sept. 12. The Conservatory is open 24 hours and admission is free.

Literally everybody is invited to M Resort’s Labor Day celebration on th Villaggio Del Sole Entertainment Plaza from 3 pm until 8 pm. Villaggio Del Sole Entertainment Piazza – M Resort – Family friendly Labor Day celebration from 3 pm until 8 pm. Live musical performances by Loveshack (3-5:30 pm) and Nitro (5:30-8 pm). Food specials start at $2 and include BBQ, burgers, hot dogs, cotton candy, gelato, shaved ice and homemade pastries. Activities for the kiddies include face painting, temporary tattoos and balloon art. A fireworks demonstration will end the evening’s festivities. Admission is free.
