The Mandalay Bay Convention Center will be the center of the tattoo universe this weekend as host of the The Biggest Tattoo Show on Earth

This year’s show features a full slate of certification classes, educational seminars, live tattooing and piercing demonstrations along with on-site laser removal services, the Historic Tattoo Museum and dozens of exhibits featuring some of the preeminent tattoo artists in world.

Daily ($45) or weekend ($100) passes can be purchased at the Las Vegas Starlight Tattoo Studio or the Convention Center, both located at Mandalay Bay. Group and one-on-one seminar ticket prices vary and require prior registration.

Miss Expo 09 Pageant

Ladies, here’s your chance to strut your stuff and show us your tats! Sign up at the Gypsy Queens Booth ($50 registration fee). Pageant will be held on Oct 4 at 3 pm and contestants must check in at the GQ booth by 1 pm on the day of the show. Winner and runner up will attend all access parties, receive prizes and media exposure and be entered to compete in an Inked Magazine Model Search.

Rock ‘n Roll Wine Lounge takes place at Lavo Lounge inside The Palazzo from 6 pm until8 pm. Open wine bar features Reggae Rhapsody White Blend and The Grotto Red Blend. Plus sample selected wines from Via Robles Winery (Paso Robles, CA). Music by DJ Robert Oleysyck. Mention Rock ‘n Roll Wine to the host to receive your wristband.

Frankie’s Tiki Room hosts Late Night Cinema with a double feature of “Swingers” and “Oh Brother Where Art Thou.” First flick starts at 4 am (technically Friday). Enjoy drink specials and popcorn. Admission is free.
