Halloween in Vegas – A Week of Sexy, Scary Fun

This is Las Vegas and the Halloween fun around here is just too huge to restrict to one night – even if it happens to be a Saturday. That’s why we’ll get the party started on Monday the 26th and keep it rollin’ right on through the weekend.

The mother of all spooky soirees is the Fetish & Fantasy Ball, which takes over The Joint at the Hard Rock for the first time this year. For $75 (plus tax) you’ll experience “One of 5 Events to Attend Before You Die” as described by Maxim magazine. Entertainment includes live music, fire performers, stilt walkers and erotic stage performances.

Costumes For Cash and More

Costume contests are always a big hit and here in Vegas the right fashion fantasy can land you literally $1000’s in cash and prizes.

The Playboy Club will reward the best Playboy themed costume and set the bar for the biggest prize package at $45,000 and the biggest slice of the $110,000 up for grabs at The Palms during the Night of Killer Costumes 3. The wearer of  “Best Costume Ever” at Rain will walk away with $40,000 in cash and prizes. Moon Nightclub will award a purse of $15,000 for the “Best Sci-fi Costume” and Ghostbar gets in on the fun with $10,000 for the “Best Undead Costume.”

Moon Nightclub will host a warm-up to the Night of Killer Costumes with $5,000 on the line at the J Roc-O-Ween costume contest on Tuesday night.

XS at Encore will kick off “Halloweek” on Monday night with a Hollywood Halloween costume party and more than $20,000 in prizes. Tryst at Wynn Las Vegas will match that prize pool at their Seven Sexy Sins costume party on Thursday night.

The Bank at Bellagio is laying down $10,000 at the Haunted Villa Fame Kills party and Vegas’ current celeb ambassador and lady about town, Ms. Holly Madison, will host “Hollyween” at the MGM Grand’s Studio 54 where they’ll give away $10,000 for the most original and sexiest costumes. And there’s yet another $10,000 being given away at Jet Nightclub inside Mirage at the Mad Hatter’s Revenge Wonderland-themed contest.

Blush Nightclub at Wynn Las Veas is dangling $5,000 for the sexiest vampire at Vampoween on Tuesday evening while Tao Nightclub’s Friday night celebration is a combined $5,000 costume contest and “Saw VI” release party. If you still haven’t cashed in by the wee hours of Sunday morning, there’s yet another $5,000 that will go to the best dressed at the Halloween After Hours Speakeasy at Drai’s tucked inside Bill’s Gambling Hall.

Cherry Nightclub at Red Rock Resort has put together the two-night Fang Bangers Ball with a $2,500 prize each evening for the Scariest and Sexiest Vampire costumes. Friday’s entertainment will be provided by Michey Avalong and Shiny Toy Guns performs on Saturday.

Little Darlings has declared Oct. 26-28 Hollywood Ho Nights and the gentlemen’s club gets the nod for most interesting and unusual prizes. In addition to the $1,000 up on Tuesday for the best costume, Monday’s Best Ladies or Couples costume contest winner will take home an Esse Love Couch. The Wednesday night contest prize is a $1,000 tattoo by Black Lotus Syndicate to the best Rock & Roll costume in the house.

The theme at South Padre inside Texas Station is “Rocky Horror Picture Show” with a live performance and a show-related costume contest that carries a $500 prize purse.

Diablo’s in front of the Monte Carlo will host a Night of the Living Dead party featuring The Deadly Seven and complimentary shots administered by Diablo’s Vixens all night long. ($20 cover)

With all these parties there was bound to be duplicate in there somewhere here it is…like Tryst, the Luxor has dubbed their Halloween night event Seven Sexy Sins and they’ll be handing out unspecified “top prizes” for the sexiest and most devilish costumes. The party takes place at the heart of the pyramid (aka Liquidity).

Celebs on Parade

Hangin’ with the stars is always a popular pastime in Sin City…..and it should come as no shock that vampires are way in this season.

The Venetian and the Palazzo are throwing a joint bash dubbed Veuve Cliquot Yelloween where one ticket gets you into two parties at two venues. Twilight stars Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz will attend the Tao half of the ticket while True Blood stars Rutina Wesley and Sam Trammell party with the fans at Lavo.

Studio 54 at the MGM Grand breaks out the way back machine and presents a live performance by Vanilla Ice (Ice, Baby) for the Friday night portion of the Nightmare on 54th Street extravaganza.

Tao borrowed the way back machine and scared up Debbie Gibson for the Halloweighties Pre-Halloween Bash on Thursday night. (Era appropriate attire is encouraged.)

Holly Madison will take the reins Saturday night for the “Hollyween” costume contest at Studio 54 while Annalynne McCord hosts her sis Rachel’s 21st birthday at Tabu at the MGM Grand.

Nicky Hilton will settle in for the night over at Pure Nightclub inside Caesars Palace.

And Prive is back to nightlife as usual and recent pesky legal issues notwithstanding, they’ll celebrate Halloween with the Pornstar Ball hosted by adult film vixen Nikki Jayne.
