The Metro Police K-9 Trials are taking place at the Orleans Arena today from 8 am until 5 pm. Watch more than 40 pooches as they are put through their paces and compete for Top Dog bragging rights. The event is open to the public and admission is free.

The Nevada Garden Club is holding their fall flower sale at the Center in Lorenzi Park (W Washington & Twin Lakes) from 10 am until 4 pm. Southwest floral design and a special exhibit on Bees, Birds and Butterflies will be featured as well as a patio sale. The event is open to the public and admission is free.
