Las Vegas Freebies Today – 12/8/09

Free movies today at the Clark County Library on E Flamingo. First up is “Beyond Tomorrow” starring Harry Carey, C. Aubrey Smith and Charles Winninger at 1 pm. This evening at 7 pm they’ll show “Across the Universe” with Evan Rachel Wood, Jim Sturgess and Joe Anderson. Admission to both movies is free.

Blue Martini at Town Square hosts Rock ‘n Pole Tuesday with live music by Venus Rising and pole dancing from 8 pm until 11 pm.

Just two more chances to catch the Cooking with the Stars seminar series at Whole Foods Market at Town Square. This evening’s presentation will be “Create Your Own Feast of the Seven Fishes” with Paul Bartolotta of Bartolotta Ristorante de Mare. The presentation takes place from 6-8 pm and admission is free. You will automatically be entered to win a $500 Whole Foods Market gift card.

McFadden’s at the Rio gets into the rodeo entertainment business with tonight’s Cowboy Karaoke at 10 pm. Sing a song and get a free drink. Cash and prizes awarded based on crowd response. The Jack Daniels girls will make an appearance from 9-11 pm and Rocky McDonald and Bow Hill will stop by for a meet-and-greet and autograph session between the same hours. Drink specials include $4 Jack Daniels cocktails and $5 Bomb Shots.
