It’s the calm after the New Year’s storm in Sin City. Snow blanketed the valley briefly this morning before the rains came and then the rains came and washed it all away.

Stay tuned because this lull in the event calendar will be very brief. Things will really pick up at the end of the week when the 2011 AVN Awards when we’ll be chest deep in adult film stars and sexy soirees.

The World Series of Beer Pong is going on at the Tropicana through Tuesday night in the Sunset Ballroom. Spectator passes are available for $25 per day and are on sale outside the venue. Renowned announcer Bruce Buffer will be handling the announcing duties for the final table event. Winner pockets $50,000.
